I started my career as a Case Manager and Data Entry Clerk at fhi360, working directly with clients and learning the basics of data systems like DHIS2 and LAMIS. That hands on experience with data at the ground level shaped everything that came after.
From there I moved into MEAL roles, then as a Regional M&E Officer covering Adamawa, Taraba, Gombe, Bauchi, Yobe, and Borno states. I drafted M&E plans, and built the reporting tools that let field teams and donors see what was actually happening on the ground.
I grew from M&E Officer into Consortium Lead and eventually Project Manager. I led an FCDO funded project that trained legislators, launched citizen led monitoring systems in 9 constituencies, and managed a team of 32 staff and volunteers. I also secured and managed UN funded programming focused on protection for girls and vulnerable women in Adamawa State, overseeing safe spaces, capacity building workshops, and community outreach.
Today I am Lead Consultant at ABSAF Consulting, where I design M&E frameworks, build data collection tools, and support organizations working with FCDO, UN, and USAID funding. I use Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Python to keep data quality high and to give program teams the insights they need to make good decisions.
